While the Tour Choir performing on Sing That Thing! has about 40 members, Boston City Singers is comprised of 500 students, ages 4 to 18. As part of Boston City Singers, students have the opportunity to be ambassadors for the United States to countries like South Africa, Argentina, and Costa Rica. Jane Money, Founding Artistic Director of Boston City Singers, helps to transform them into independent and disciplined young people. Jane challenges students to be self-confident, outgoing and more expressive as individuals, not just musicians. Boston City Singers is “more than just a choir”, with leadership training, community building, and social justice emphasized at every level.
